Aggiornamento sulle attività e sui ritiri a seguito dell’incendio a Gaia Terra
Care socie e cari soci,
con questo articolo intendiamo informarvi su un fatto rilevante che ha colpito direttamente lo svolgimento delle nostre attività e sull’assetto che assumeranno i ritiri nei prossimi mesi.
Nella notte tra il 10 e l’11 marzo, un grave incendio ha distrutto Sala Sole, il principale spazio dedicato alla pratica, all’accoglienza e allo svolgimento degli eventi presso l’ecovillaggio Gaia Terra, luogo che da anni ospita i nostri ritiri Contact Silence.
La perdita della sala comporta l’impossibilità di realizzare i ritiri stagionali autunnale, invernale e primaverile, che pertanto sono sospesi fino a quando la sala non sarà ripristinata e le condizioni per accogliere i gruppi saranno nuovamente adeguate e sicure.
Il solo ritiro attualmente confermato è quello di fine estate, che, salvo impedimenti imprevisti, verrà mantenuto in programma secondo le modalità che verranno comunicate a tempo debito.
La programmazione già definita per l’anno in corso verrà posticipata di un anno, nella speranza che i lavori di ricostruzione possano procedere con la necessaria cura e che lo spazio torni presto a essere disponibile per le attività.
Riconosciamo in Gaia Terra non solo un luogo fisico, ma un contesto profondamente connesso allo spirito del nostro percorso. Per questo motivo, abbiamo scelto di non cercare una sede alternativa per i prossimi ritiri, ma di attendere e sostenere il processo di rinascita del luogo che da anni ci accoglie.

Update on Activities and Retreats Following the Fire at Gaia Terra
Dear members,
With this message, we wish to inform you of an important event that has directly impacted our activities and to outline how our retreats will be affected in the coming months.
During the night between March 10th and 11th, a major fire destroyed Sala Sole, the main space dedicated to practice, hospitality, and events at the Gaia Terra ecovillage — the place that has hosted our Contact Silence retreats for many years.
The loss of the hall makes it impossible to hold the seasonal autumn, winter, and spring retreats, which are therefore suspended until the hall is restored and the conditions for welcoming groups are once again adequate and safe.
The only retreat currently confirmed is the late summer retreat, which — barring unforeseen circumstances — will remain on the calendar, with details to be shared in due course.
The program previously scheduled for this year will be postponed by one year, in the hope that the reconstruction work can proceed with the necessary care and that the space will soon be available again for our activities.
We recognize Gaia Terra not only as a physical place, but as a context deeply connected to the spirit of our journey. For this reason, we have chosen not to seek an alternative venue for upcoming retreats, but rather to wait and support the process of renewal of the place that has welcomed us for so long.
